"Digging Two Graves"

By Matthew H Emma

Logline: A vengeful, Greek-Cypriot assassin pursues the Turkish war criminal who murdered her brother; falls for her intended target's son and is forced to choose between love and retribution.

Set mainly in modern day Cyprus and The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, "DIGGING TWO GRAVES" is the story of VICTORIA "VICKY" ANTROPOLIS, who is hellbent on exacting revenge on the men who killed her brother SOTERIOS almost two decades prior. Vicky's desire leads to her induction into THE ELECTRALISTAS, a secret group of female assassins. Her first assignment is TURGOLU, one of Soterios's murderers. Before Vicky carries out the asassination, Turgolu confesses ABDULLAH CENK, Soterios's primary killer and notorious war crininal lies in hiding somewhere inside The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Vicky discovers Cenk's compound is isolated and heavily guarded, which prompts Vicky and her boss, Electralista leader and founder SOPHIA to concoct a scheme requiring Vicky to go incognito at Cenk's compound working as his cook. During Vicky's initial time undercover, she meets and is immediately attracted to FAISSAL, a handsome gentleman. When Vicky is finally able to get close enough to Cenk, her atempt on his life is thwarted by an unexpected visit from Faissal. Vicky's attraction to Faissal blossoms and soon leads to a sexual encounter. After the tryst, Faissal reveals he is Cenk's son.
After one of Vicky's Electraliasta cohorts carries out another assassination, Turkish authorities grow wise and warn the Cypriot government to stop the killings or risk war. Sophia convinces the CYPRIOT DEFENSE MINISTER to allow the elimination of Cenk, ranked number one on Cyprus's most wanted list, to proceed. Vicky's relationship with Faissal disturbs Sophia who threatens Vicky's well-being if she does not end the fling and kill Cenk within three days. Vicky thwarts a robbery attempt at her family's clothing store. However, the heroic deed blows Vicky's cover, forcing her to come clean about her double life to her sister IRENE and leads to her capture and detainment by BARAT, Cenk's Head of Security. Faissal helps Vicky escape Barat's clutches, but Sophia and the Electralistas take Faissal into custody and use him as a pawn to ensure Vicky completes the Cenk mission.
Under the guise of releasing Faissal, Vicky lures Cenk into meeting at an unmanned border crossing where Cenk must either surrender to Cypriot authorities or be killed. Faissal escapes Electralista imprisonment and coerces his captors into revealing where Vicky and Cenk plan to meet. In an attempt to save Vicky, Faissal commandeers a van and speeds toward Cenk and Vicky's rendezvous point. An unknowing Cenk shoots at the van and kills Faissal. Cypriot and Turkish forces converge. Armed confrontation is narrowly averted when Sophia convinces a Cypriot military commander Vicky is a secret operative employed by the Cypriot government. Cenk is taken into custody by the Cypriot military. Though distraught and depressed, Vicky learns the dangers of revenge and the meaning of the ancient saying: "Before Setting Out On Revenge, One Must Dig Two Graves."

Hi. Please find a resume and loglines pasted below. I just finished the script for a $30 million, English-language feature for a Chinese studio, two book adaptations, and a feature rewrite for a Canadian production company. My latest script just finished post production, and I am in discussions with a Canadian production company on the sale of another of my spec scripts.

Thanks.

A Headbangers Guide To High School is a comedic coming of age story that will appeal to a massive audience demographic. As well it can't be expertly shot on a low budget with minimal locations. If you are interested and would like for me to submit my full script please feel free to email me back. I will put my log line below. You can reach me at my email address ericrobertsnelling@[sign in to see URL].

Logline: Brought up in the 80's life style, a homeschooled student is forced to modernize in order to survive the perilous waters of every day high school.

Thanks,

The Irish Dresser

Logline: A young, plucky, visionary Irish woman living in turbulent, racist, and gang-mired 19th-Century New York vanquishes the demons of sexual exploitation, ignorance, and loss. Loving an Irish rebel and helping escaped slaves, this compelling character is no pig-headed Bridie, and could be any woman, any immigrant, at any time in America. Hers is an American story of self-creation through sheer grit and imagination.

Two locations: Ireland and NYC! I have pilot, Bible, and more.
