I write comic screenplays and books. Have several novels and plays published, all comic.

Some of these have awards attached. I also write a humor column and have been congratulated for my work by Dave Barry.

Hi There -
I'm a UK national, winner of many global screenwriting/producing awards, and here's my profile and laurels:
[url][sign in to see URL]
I developed my serial-killer script with Hollywood's Michael Ferris ('The Game') who calls it '...the next 'Seven' and it shoots in Canada next Winter.
I have many ideas at various stages of development, and ultimately want to direct my own scripts.
Thanks.

A young woman in a mental ward gifted in song writing is filled with hope and forms a rock-band with her fellow patients called The Forgotten Ones, as a direct result of being inspired by her daughter's spirit visits, through a colorful butterfly, acting as a conduit beyond the grave.

Through her love and passion to sing, she heals, and transcends the hospital.

I have sold two screenplays, one to Miramax, requested by Wes Craven. Taught story development at Cape Fear Community College. Just completed a powerful script that is inspired by real, nationally surpressed information, as referred to in this actual testimony. Interested in meeting.

The Border Theatre is a performance ensemble located in El Paso, TX that is dedicated to creating and developing original, cutting-edge works that explore the human experience through the artistry of theatre.

Since it’s foundation in 2010, each year it brings to life a major production, a staged reading of a locally written play, and several minor productions in non-traditional venues. Productions are often the result of collaborating with artists in different mediums which lead to experiences that are unlike anything else offered in the city of El Paso, like the annual short play, dance, music and art festival Exhibitions in Dis/Connection.

The order theatre has also established The Rio Grande Writer'sRoom, which is dedicated to the creation of content for the stage and screen.

Hey, I’m Deano Jones. 31 year old aspiring writer
Currently have 2 screenplays in the hands of producers and as you know film making is a long process so it’s all about patience (I keep telling myself lol)

I also have a third screenplay I have written this year. A boxing screenplay called “Stay Hungry” about a teenager from the tough streets of London who is heading for a life of crime but falls into boxing and discovers he has a talent he never knew he had.

I feel this could be a franchise with follow on films
Stay humble
Stay strong
Stay focused

In 2018 I will continue to work on my craft.

Re: New Production Company Building Network

I'm a writer/director looking for the remaining 45% of the budget needed to begin production on my feature script.

BLACK APPLE (feature, drama, horror)
Logline: A man plagued by inner demons is contacted by an old friend, a medical scientist who wrongly claims to have discovered God.

'Black Apple' is a dark and unnerving character based drama, it deals with the fear of death and what it is to die, in a horrific but beautifully haunting way. The film is set in the 1950's and centres around an isolated country house, located in the remote Highlands of Scotland. The house is led by a slowly maddening doctor who is worshipped by his devoted followers (all women) who treat and think of him as a God, with fatal and frightening results.

I'm working with a reputable Belgian production company, however one of the agreements made with this company is that my literary partner and I will seek the rest of the funding needed (est. 40%) from UK/US production companies.

We have been working on perfecting our screenplay, 'Black Apple', for a number of years. The screenplay was edited by best selling author Milly Johnson.

Best regards

I am proud to call films like Good Will Hunting, Gladiator, and On the Waterfront my favorites.

As for me, I’m the author of two award-winning screenplays and three books. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College-Chicago, and a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.

Screenplays:
Not A Stranger was awarded Best Screenplay at the Golden Door International Film Festival, 2016. This project was shot in 2015 and screened at various film festivals and locations in 2016. At a Chicago screening, film critic Richard Roeper gave Not A Stranger 3 stars, and called it "the epitome of an independent film."

My TV pilot script, The Blue Circus, won the GOLD MEDAL for Best Original TV Pilot from the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest. This is a 6-hour mini-series and 4 of the 6 episodes have been written.

Judge’s note on The Blue Circus: “This is a superb drama pilot. This takes a close look at Chicago labor and politics. It makes a compelling case that a little bit of corruption is necessary for everything to work smoothly. The characters are all likable and all of them are morally compromised to one extent or another. But no one is a real bad guy. The dialogue is great. It sounds authentic. It’s tough and often profane but there’s a great rhythm to it. This is a very exciting project. . . This is an epic depiction of urban life similar to The Wire.”
