produced screenwriter's Hitchcockian slasher script

Hi,
I am a multi-produced, award-winning screenwriter, with 4 feature film writing credits, the latest of which stars Ben Kingsley.

My latest effort is STRUNG OUT, a Hitchcockian slasher script with a unique hook - one as well-set up and unexpected as that of THE SIXTH SENSE. I co-wrote the script with up-and-comer Jon Charles. The logline, synopsis and my bio and credits follow.

Please let me know if you'd like to read the script.
Cheers,
Richard A. Lasser

Logline:
Two high stakes smugglers trick a desperate street musician into becoming their unsuspecting mule, or so they think.

Synopsis:
Seasoned, career white-collar criminal CLAUDIUS, 70s and his hot-headed protégé BRYCE, 30s are looking for someone to get high value goods across the border. They happen upon striking NATALIA, 30s, who plays her beat-up cello for donations at Seattle's Pike Place Market. To the dismay of Claudius (who's not a little jealous of Bryce), Natalia and the younger man fall in love so deeply, that she even forgives him when he accidentally breaks her cello. He gets it repaired and to make it up to her, invites Natalia and her daughter, PENELOPE, 8, to come north to Canada with him.
When Bryce is murdered there, she becomes a suspect. but Claudius comes to her rescue, spirits Natalia and Penelope away to a private island in British Columbia. One night, while Natalia and Penelope sleep, TWO ARABS visit Claudius. He peels away the label on Natalia's cello exposing a priceless manuscript stolen from the Syrian museum by Isis. Claudius sells it for millions. After the Arabs leave, Claudius tries to murder Natalia and her daughter, but after a fierce struggle, Natalia slashes Claudius to death with her sharpened cello bow. Or so she thinks. After one last fight to the death, Natalia and Penelope escape in Claudius's cabin cruiser - with the cash.
On the water, Natalia's smile fades into a flashback to the opening scene. While playing in Seattle, she overhears the conversation between Bryce and Claudius. They need to find a mule to smuggle a priceless manuscript to Canada to exchange it with the Arabs. She turns toward the men, opens her legs invitingly around the cello, and beckons them to her with her eyes. Now it's clear. It was she who set them up after overhearing their conversation.

Re: Hitchcockian Slasher Film Wanted

Hello, I, Tony Taylor, screenwriter, seek an investor for this amazing horror feature that is an ode to the late, great artist Prince, whom you know, was greatly loved, all over the planet. Please take a look! Thank you and please reply back to receive your copy of the script, THE DEVIL’S GAME

THINK: SCREAM Meets A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

LOGLINE: An old, evil man creates a board game centuries ago with rock made inverted crosses as the playing pieces and bone dice to roll with. He calls the game, “Rock and Roll”. Years later, a group of horny college kids find the game and open the gates of hell by playing it. Dead superstar rock stars invade the kids dreams and kill them one by one.

SYNOPSIS

The Devil’s Game has all the elements of horror success. It has blood and sex, of course, but it also has an intelligence, that hasn’t been found in horror in many years. The dead rock stars represent anti christs who have blacked out eyes and killer ways. The game represents the punishment many have suffered for the sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle.

The rock stars range from Prince, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline to Elvis Presley. The story line is simple. The kids, most of whom are acting naughty, play the game, one by one, and are visited by a rock star in their dreams and then die a terrible, bloody death, relating to the dream.

The virgin of the group must learn how to use the purple “light”, thus the ode to Prince, in her dream to kill the demon from the game and end it forever. Critics and fans alike will love The Devil’s Game as it is satisfying and also tounge in cheek.

The film can be shot for a low budget, shot in any college town and considering that horror brings in high returns, this one should yield a nice ROI for investors on a full slate of feature films.

Here is a project featuring limited cast, locales but adaptable.

Title: BrotherBrother (registered with WGAEast)

BrotherBrother – Synopsis

Genre: horror/paranormal thriller

Screenplay by Kathleen Gerritson

Sibling rivalry runs amok in this collision course extraordinaire when Corinne an ambitious female and her quirky brother Andrew with pet monkey in tow battle over inheritance of the family estate and entitlements. Contestable holdings including lucrative lithium mines, come into play at the family compound known as Phillips Manor.

When the contents and more importantly the conditions of the will of their departed mother are revealed, all hell breaks loose. A harsh and conniving Corinne is determined to stop at nothing for exclusive rights but more determined perhaps to cover up an ugly truth from the family’s past. She goes so far as to corrupt an associate from the firm representing the family estate while continuing to harass and demean her hapless brother. Andrew, on the other hand methodically maps out his counter attack with a little help from his friends - estate staff and a squirrel monkey. Andrew is a technophile with a score to settle. All is revealed in due course.

Gothic Phillips Manor is the perfect backdrop when the showdown comes in the form of an elaborate costume ball and the instrument of revenge is a gypsy fortune telling booth crafted by
BrotherBrother.

If this has piqued your interest – please advise. Thank you.
