Title: “Six Point Eve”

Logline: After a New Year’s explosion in Times Square is blamed on a gas leak, six friends, all of who were observing the event unfold on street cameras, offer different accounts of the same story, and find themselves victim of a group out to silence them from revealing the truth.

Rated: (R)
Target Audience: Male/Female, 18+
Genre: Thriller/Mystery/Action

Script takes place in Times Square so this would be familiar ground for you and I want to work with a director as serious as myself in bringing the vision to the big screen. Your being from New York would be VERY HELPFUL in executing scenes around the Times Square area. You want a great script, SIX POINT EVE is the one. My movie has already been looked over by my agent, an Emmy award-winning producer and ready for production! My plan is for the script to begin production immediately so that the release of the movie will coincide with the timing in the movie as well.

This Script made the Page Awards Semi Final.

Looking for Jesus:
Fallen to earth, an ambiguous charismatic man instinctively treks to the City of Angels, creating miracles by accident, while saving the spirituality of a rebellious teen scripturing Jesus’ existence.

SYNOPSIS:
Jesus ( pronounced as Hey-Soos) Cruz, is equipped with no more than a satchel, a poncho, a bedroll and a canteen when he wakes up in an orchard on a lavish estate in southern California after experiencing a magnificent dream. He feels compelled to make his way to a place he naively knows only as “The City of Angels.”

In Los Angeles, Hey-Soos’s random acts of generosity and accidental miracles astonish everyone he meets as he wanders around the city. He encounters a number of lost individuals and transforms their troubled lives with his charismatic looks and gentle wisdom and he Kicks some ass when it comes to the Catholic Church and Religions of the World. This Rebel Jesus, means business.

There’s John Reynolds, roguish, eighteen, tormented by nightmares originating from his strict Catholic upbringing. He desperately seeks spiritual guidance apart from the instilled teachings of his childhood. Hey-Soos subtly acknowledges John’s presence as the young man chases him around LA. Not being able to meet the ever elusive Hey-Soos, keeps John longing and wondering if Hey-Soos might provide answers to his inner dilemmas while writing in his journal, as he searches for the truth. Hey-Soos mentors Dottie Anderson, a sexy but goofy twenty-eight-year-old bank clerk on the protocol of the world of high finance, ingratiating her with his irresistible charm and intellect which allows him to cash a welfare check which he acquired with no Identification whatsoever, which in turn leads to a very satisfying sexual liaison. There’s Peter, a homeless Black man who is an alcoholic. Hey-Soos meets and befriends him in a food line at a shelter where he nurtures him with his unconditional love, setting him free to lead a meaningful life and lining him up to be the head of the next, New wave religion, “Peter, I shall call you the Rock”… Peter’s response,”Like that wrestler guy”, There’s also Patrick, twenty-five, a priest at John's church, who is enamored with John's extroverted sister, Maura, which causes her Father to write a substantial check to the church to save her depraved soul.

When Hey-Soos is picked up by officers of the LAPD after they find him sleeping under a tree on private property, Hey-Soss` destiny kicks into high gear, cementing in his mind for certain that he is indeed a very special person when his Mug shots and fingerprints can- not be taken , freaking to hell all the Cops at the station, and astounding Black Sarge, “Jumpin` Jesus, who in the hell are you”?

In jail, suppressed by a straight jacket, Hey-Soos meets Barabbas, a cagey criminal who takes an instant liking to his new cellmate and befriends him. He introduces himself to Barabbas as Jesus (not Hey-Soos). Sent to court with Barabbas at his side, Jesus, armed with his sardonic wit, endears himself to the presiding judge, thus delaying any further decision's on Jesus's fate. Instead, the judge remands him to a psychiatric evaluation at the state institution for the mentally challenged. There, tired and longing for comfort and love, Jesus speaks from his heart about the simplistic necessities of life and asks the Psychiatrist, “Can someone tell Bono, He’s no Jesus”. The truth sets Jesus free and motivates him to meet John. Destiny brings them together. They help a young female drug addict to die with dignity, peace, and respect. Jesus's journey is now complete. He exits this world as he came in, alone.

Genre: Thriller/Crime

American Standard:
Abused in childhood, a crazed Vixen seeks revenge, by slaughtering males across America, setting up a confrontational ending with the Cop who saved her from her evil Stepfather.

American Standard is a macabre tale of Erica Strong, a twenty-seven-year-old raven haired beauty suffering from the devastating ill’s of schizophrenia and enslaved by a lethal heroin addiction, brought on by the horrific abuse by her stepfather Frank when she was an innocent twelve-year-old Julie Ambrose.

Erica, a knockout sales rep for American Standard plumbing products, exacts her woeful revenge on unsuspecting male victims by arranging sexual liaisons in hotels across America, via kinky alternative sex sites. At her appointed rendezvous, she unmercifully slays them with a twelve inch kitchen knife to the back of the neck, killing her unsuspecting victims over and over as she extracts revenge upon Frank, her nefarious, evil stepfather.

Her repeated killings of elderly look alike Frank’s take a twist for the worst when she degenerates further into her depravity by victimizing a younger innocent male, whom she captivates in a Miami airport lounge. With her inner demons in full throttle, Erica heads back to her home town of Chicago, desperately seeking some relief for her tormented soul.

Enter Syd Turner. A retired fifty-five-year-old cop extraordinaire, who by demons of his own making, has transformed himself into a reclusive, quirky alcoholic. Obsessed by Julie, who he saved from a torturous life many years earlier, Syd is lured out of retirement by Lloyd, a loose fitting cop friend to hunt down this man killer once and for all, who the police have aptly nicknamed, Jugular Jackie.
Syd, with the guidance of his therapist, is urged to tackle the unenviable task of hunting down Erica, unaware that she is his sweet Julie from years past.

Thrusted into the fast moving world of high tech, Syd seeks guidance from his estranged brother Saul’s daughter, Jennifer, who wires him back to the real world.

With her drug and mental illness in full bloom, Erica, jets up to New Jersey to regroup with her surrogate father boss, Karl. This trip turns awry as Karl’s secret sexual desires unfold, spinning Erica out of control and leaving her lost in a living hell. She jets back to Chicago and prepares for her final demise. Thirsting for younger blood, Erica unwittingly leaves a clue for Syd at a hotel (a silver bracelet) in the toilet bowl. She also spares the life of an innocent eighteen-year-old male after experiencing a hallucination of Julie in the bedroom mirror, which in turn, spirals Syd into a drunken tizzy.

Armed with his intuitive instinct, Syd experiences a flash of brilliance about the silver bracelet, which ultimately leads him to a solid link to Erica via an old lover friend of hers named Jewel. Erica, rife with schizophrenic hallucinations while appearing as the keynote speaker for careers night at The Girl’s Club of America, takes the final steps toward her inevitable end by helping Syd to complete his gumshoe work. A climatic ending ensues when Syd comes face to face with Erica in the bedroom of her luxurious apartment. A long awaited peace for Erica? Resolve for Syd? The final countdown has begun.

Synopsis:

Ming (25, from China) and Jack Rhodes (25, from America) are worlds apart, but are brought together via the internet. Hospitalized with broken thumbs and a severe beating to the face and head, Jack is nursed back to health both physically and spiritually by the ever loving and loyal Ming. Through Ming’s Buddhist affirmations, Jack now can accept life on life’s terms and comes to grips with his inner demons, allowing the inner man to mature and grow, overcoming the hidden and suppressed feelings that had been built up all throughout the years inside a vulnerable child’s mind.

Ming’s destiny takes flight when she is set to perform in the long awaited singing contest that she has dreamed of for many years. Resolve, triumph and love await all who have come into contact with Ming, and with her adorable, bright, endearing ways and strong Angelic voice, will it be possible for Ming and Jack to defeat the haunting beast that dwells on the borderline and which separates two cultures from two different worlds?

Genre: Drama

Summer Indian:

Despite the death of his parents, best friend and younger brother through alcohol, a Native lacrosse player stands tall, smashing the status quo of a mad racist town, when he powers his team to a Championship.

Synopsis:

 1974:
Hot shot lacrosse playing Roddy (17) rips a goal, securing a seemingly insurmountable lead of three games to none for his North Shore Indians team in the best of Seven Championship series against Brad (17) and the much hated all Caucasian Blazers. As Roddy jogs back to the bench, Brad, ever the catalyst, rears his ignorant child-like self. “Go back to the slummy Rez, ya bunch of Jigaboo’s”. Vern (17), Roddy’s best friend, thwarts Roddy’s incessant hate toward Brad, urging him to march on to their destiny in honor of his younger brother Samuel, who was mauled and beaten five years earlier in a cruel, harsh Reform School.”For Samuel, Bro”.”For Samuel”.
Flashback:
 1969:
Roddy and Samuel’s Mother lays face down on the open street, dead from Vodka poisoning . A throng of Native kids encircling her taunt and tease Samuel (8) as he gush’s tears while embracing his Mother tenderly. Roddy (12), Vern (12) and Sally (12) a loyal female friend, bounce up to the nightmarish scene causing the other kids to disperse. As Samuel sobs, they watch with absolute horror etched on their faces. A month later their Father is beset with the same tragic circumstance. Roddy and Samuel are then torn from their environment and whirl-winded through the courts to a hellish life of abuse, into the prison like denizen of an evil, nefarious pedophile. It is here, with a saving act of immense brotherly love by Samuel that the two brave soldiers are separated forever. The fun filled memories of carefree days frolicking and fishing together in their safe pleasurable creek sanctuary, waning as rapidly as their childhood innocence.
1974:
After the game, Roddy crushes the status quo by stealing away with Brad’s girlfriend, Sharon (17) to an all-night party on the Rez, setting off a barrage of fists and disparaging insults when the series resumes in game four. Later that night, suspended, shamed and racked with remorse, Roddy and Vern seek refuge in a destructive drunk. Roddy staggers off into the dark night. Vern wheels his cut up Chevy recklessly down the street, at breakneck speed.
Days later, Roddy and the Lacrosse team are gathered around Vern’s grave. Old Joe (80, elder Shaman) smiles broadly toward Roddy, devouring him with his concerned, father like eyes.
Roddy, unable to come to grips with life on life’s terms, embarks on a self-humiliating drunken binge, walking aimlessly around town, eaten alive with hatred when he catches sight of the newspaper headlines in the paper boxes, extolling the heroics of Brad leading the Blazers to a showdown in game Seven. Later that night, Roddy finds himself nestled inside Old Joe’s cabin. He is mentored by truthful wisdoms from this kind, funny, insightful Shaman. “I saw the White Wolf this morning. He told me Roddy Nahanee is in trouble and needs your help. To lose your mind and body to another person is unthinkable. But to lose your heart and Spirit, is a living Hell”. Old Joe’s words and spiritual guidance are a soothing gentle tonic for Roddy, bolstering him to stand tall and stride with a new found pride toward his destiny and the sacred Honoring of Samuel.
