Re: Seeking Screenplays In Which The Protagonist Is A Writer

Hello,

I wish to submit my feature length psychological horror screenplay, "Dead Husband" to you for consideration.

Genre: Horror/psychological thriller
Sub-Genre: Mystery

Logline: Soon after her husband's murder, a novelist sees the ghost of her dead husband and tries to convince everyone around her that he is back, that he wants to take revenge on his murderer, but when she learns the reason for his presence around her it shakes her to the core.

It is a psychological horror story of a middle aged woman who is a writer believes that her husband is back from the dead and wants to take revenge on his murderer.

Throughout the story, the protagonist writes down the emotional experience she is dealing and this helps her to find out the reason her husband is back from the dead.

This story has an element of horror and mystery from the beginning, it delves deeper in to the emotional state of a person suffering from the death of a close one.

Please let me know if you would like to read the full screenplay and I will get you a copy immediately.

Kind regards,
Qazi Fabia Hoq

Hello, Martín here.

The grat idea is the title of m script.
If you want a story about

How it would be if god come in a human body to solve the human´s problem. Could him/her or not?
The creative process in the story telling and an resignation feeling about even god can not improve the human problems in human ways (at the end).

Greetings!

Hello,

I have a comedy screenplay about a novelist which is an adaptation of the novel Brain: The Man Who Wrote the Book That Changed the World [sign in to see URL]

When a failed novelist writes an angry satire about the publishing industry he achieves instant fame and guru status when the novel is taken seriously as a self-help book.

All DANIEL WATERSTONE ever wanted to do was write the great American novel and change the landscape of modern literature forever. He has two books in print but no one's buying. His agent won't even accept his latest masterpiece which he poured his soul into - it's not commercial enough.
In a final act of desperation, under the pseudonym of CHARLES SPECTRUM, he writes a feverish satire on what's considered commercial right now - New Age books. "How to do Amazing Things Using Only Your Brain" contains crazy and hilarious exercises on how to increase one's brain power. Instead of being published as satire, however, it hits the shelves with all the other serious pop psychology self-improvement books. It becomes a huge hit. People all across the country are doing unbelievably zany exercises to improve themselves. Even crazier still - they're getting results: readers are levitating, bending spoons and seeing into the future. He becomes a mega guru and is catapulted to the head of a new corporation, Brain Inc.

"THE LITTLE MORNINGS" is a noir tale. A former distinguished professor, now a hapless drunk, has sold a novel written years earlier. [sign in to see URL] has to go on tour. Hey, this bird can't make it to the bathroom now. He uses empty wine jugs that encumber his foul sleeping room. His paranoid granddaughter has a loser boyfriend with a good memory, so the prof grooms him to go on tour as the author.
But then another loser shows up claiming that he's the real author.
Three authors for one book? Somebody has to go, in this tale of misguided love, deception, greed, [sign in to see URL] murder.
I'll send a pdf along upon request. Thanks, Carl

The following loglines are for scripts about writers. I'm pasting a short resume afterward.

Thanks.

“Chasing Spielberg,” A billion dollar budget, every superstar in town, the worst script ever written, and a drunken screenwriter who refuses to write anything but technical manuals. Yup… par for the Hollywood course.

(Drama, Low Budget) “Face Time,” A beautiful reporter becomes fascinated by a brilliant but grotesquely disfigured man who may have won the biggest lottery in history.
