My pilot and episodes are based on my four published historical fiction novels. I worked with a screenwriter consultant and the screenplay, The Irish Dresser, with supporting papers is ready.

Logline: A young, plucky, visionary Irish woman living in turbulent, racist, and gang-mired 19th-Century New York vanquishes the demons of sexual exploitation, ignorance, and loss. Loving an Irish rebel and helping escaped slaves, this compelling character is no pig-headed Bridie, and could be any woman, any immigrant, at any time in America. Hers is an American story of self-creation through sheer grit and imagination.
